SUMMARY:Audition Insights Day
DESCRIPTION:On the Ekka Public Holiday, the Academy of Queensland Ball
 et is holding its Audition Insights Day for students aged 11 to 18 yea
 rs old. \n\nAs an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the pr
 ofessional audition process, students will take part in an audition-st
 yle class designed to reflect industry practice. The day will also inc
 lude a dedicated post-class feedback session, Q&A panel with faculty m
 embers, and a specialised safe dance practice workshop to provide danc
 ers with valuable strategies to perform confidently in high-pressure c
 onditions. \n\nAudition Insights Day will be held at the Thomas Dixon 
 Centre, home of Queensland Ballet. Students will have the opportunity 
 to train in the Company’s state-of-the-art studios, gaining insight 
 into how an audition is staged within a professional environment. This
  experience will be valuable to those preparing for audition season, p
 articularly those attending the Academy’s upcoming audition events.
