Lower School Mid-Year Demonstrations

Queensland Ballet Academy

Queensland Ballet Academy

#Lower School students present classwork and repertoire excerpts in the Academy’s studio theatre at Kelvin Grove.

Designed to share elements of the professional training offered at Queensland Ballet Academy, our Lower School students (Levels 6-4) will present classwork and repertoire across three demonstration sessions.

This showcase event includes demonstrations of class work in ballet, contemporary, classical, character, and historical dance, along with excerpts of dynamic repertoire learned in their current year of training. We hope you will join us and enjoy the work of our dedicated dancers at our state-of-the-art home at Kelvin Grove.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
