#Are you ready to take the final step towards a professional ballet career?

Queensland Ballet Academy invites talented and passionate dancers to audition for our renowned Pre-Professional Program — a transformative full-time training year designed to bridge the gap between student and professional artist.

Based at Queensland Ballet’s home in West End, this full-time final year training program offers a rare opportunity to train and perform alongside our Company dancers and learn from our esteemed Academy and Company artistic teams, guest creatives, and performance health professionals in preparation to join a professional ballet or dance company. From studio to stage, participants will gain hands-on industry experience, performing in major productions with Queensland Ballet Company as well as in exclusive Academy seasons.

Audition requirements:
• Pre-Professional Program students must be turning 18 years of age within the year of
commencement and have completed their secondary studies to be eligible
• Applicant & Parent/Carer details (if auditionee is under 18 years of age)
• Current headshot and full-length Image (please see FAQs section for example images)

Applications open on 1 May and close on 1 August.
