A canvas in motion
Beauty can be found in the simplest things.
In 2027, Soirée draws inspiration from the vibrant world of celebrated Australian artist Margaret Olley, whose luminous paintings transformed everyday objects into extraordinary works of art.
Queensland Ballet once again partners with Philip Bacon Galleries and Camerata, Queensland's Chamber Orchestra, for this intimate performance that weaves together visual art, live music and dance in a celebration of creativity and imagination.
Featuring artists from the Academy of Queensland Ballet's Clark Graduate Program, Soirée offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience the next generation of dance talent up close.
