Once audition registrations close, late registrations may be considered; however, priority will be given to registrations received within the timeline advised above.

Audition classes will be scheduled between 8.30am-5.00pm on the audition date. An email will be issued the week prior to the audition date which will include detailed information about the event and the facilities.

Please note that we are unable to advise of your specific audition class time earlier, as the schedule for the day is dependent on the number of registrations we receive.

Applicants will be notified of their audition result via email

As is industry practice, no feedback regarding the result of the audition will be provided to applicants, studio teachers and/or parents/carers.

Successful applicants will be advised by email with the result of their audition. They will then have 2 weeks to either accept or decline the offer provided, before beginning the next stage of the enrolment process.

On accepting the offer, successful applicants will be sent an Enrolment Package and may be advised to have a GP complete a medical form.

Unsuccessful applicants will be advised by email with the result of their audition (see above timeline). No feedback regarding the result of their audition will be given to applicants, studio teachers, and/or their parents/carers.

The Academy Program (Levels 3 - 1) is run in collaboration with the Department of Education and there is an appeals process available to unsuccessful applicants wishing to appeal on the grounds of procedural fairness only. Please note that the appeals process will close seven days after the results for the auditions are issued.

Unsuccessful applicants may audition again in the future.

The Academy accepts students based on their skill level and suitability for our training programs. The number of successful applicants varies each year.

Unsuccessful applicants are encouraged to continue working hard towards their goals and are welcome to re-audition in the future.

International applicants for the Clark Graduate Program, Academy Program (Levels 3 - 1), Associate Program (Levels 6 - 4), and Associate Program+ (Levels 7 - 1) that reside overseas are eligible to apply via video audition submission. Please note this is the first stage in the video audition application process for international applicants, and applicants may be asked to attend a live audition class prior to being made an offer.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
