Jake Rodriguez
Jake Rodriguez is a sound designer and composer working in theater and dance based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. His recent theatrical credits include How Shakespeare Saved My Life (Folger Theatre, Berkeley Repertory Theatre); Don’t Eat the Mangos (Huntington Theatre); Tupelo Tornado (Smuin Ballet); Between Two Knees (Perelman Performing Arts Center, Yale Repertory Theatre, Oregon Shakespeare Festival); Frankenstein Revived (Stratford Festival); and Mother Road (Berkeley Repertory Theatre).
Rodriguez is the recipient of a 2004 Princess Grace Award and received an honorary M.F.A. from American Conservatory Theater in 2021. When not working in theater or dance, Rodriguez performs solo as bran(…)pos and with the psychedelic cumbia band Ritmos Tropicosmos.
