Kath Cadd

Kath Cadd is Education Manager at Queensland Ballet and an experienced arts educator with more than 20 years’ practice across schools and industry in Queensland, the Northern Territory and the UK. With deep expertise in Dance and Drama education, she has held diverse teaching and leadership roles and brings strong capability in curriculum design, assessment and resource development. She has worked as an education consultant and resource author for companies and independent artists, served as a Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority assessor and external examination marker, and maintained professional industry practice internationally. 

At Queensland Ballet, Kath leads education initiatives that connect classrooms with professional practice, overseeing school workshop and teacher learning programs aligned to curriculum, underpinned by a strong commitment to collaborations, learning communities and her own First Nations Cultural learning and capability building. She collaborates closely with educators, artists and community partners to strengthen access to high-quality dance education. Kath currently serves as Secretary of Ausdance Queensland and spent many years as an executive member of the Ausdance Educators Queensland sub-committee, advocating for rigorous, accessible, supported and connected dance education across the state.
