2026 Foundation Program Selection Session — Term 2 Intake

The Academy of Queensland Ballet are delighted to invite young dancers from across Brisbane to audition for a Term 2 intake into our Foundation Program - a nurturing, after-school training pathway designed to inspire a lifelong love of dance and the first point of entry into the Academy of Queensland Ballet's professional training pathway.
Schedule: Selection Sessions will be scheduled between 3.30pm to 6pm, and will be confirmed via email the week prior to the event.
Eligibility: Registrants must be enrolled at any school within the Brisbane metropolitan area in a minimum academic level of Prep and maximum Year 6.
Attire: Fitted, comfortable clothing or dance / active wear and ballet flats. As registrants will be partaking in various movement exercises, please no costumes, tutus, tiaras, or other clothing items / hair accessories that may inhibit their range of motion. Registrants will need to arrive dressed in their dance attire with warm-up gear or street clothing over the top.
