Following its triumphant Gold Coast premiere, Annabelle Lopez-Ochoa’s Elegantly Wasted arrives in Brisbane for its highly anticipated home season.

Set within the polished anonymity of a luxury hotel lobby, a group of impeccably dressed youth perform their carefully curated lives. Every gesture is considered. Every interaction is observed. Every moment is staged.

Yet beneath the glamour and perfection lies something more fragile.

As appearances begin to crack and carefully maintained facades unravel, Elegantly Wasted reveals a deeply human story about identity, connection and the courage to be seen for who we truly are.

Set to the unmistakable reimagined songs of INXS, this bold contemporary ballet is stylish, provocative and strikingly relevant.
