Generously donated by Glen Holland, the Glen Holland Scholarship assists one talented dancer each year in the Upper School Level one program at Queensland Ballet Academy to transition to the Pre-Professional Program – the final training year before joining a professional ballet company.

Offering the opportunity to pursue their dreams at Queensland Ballet Academy and Queensland Ballet, the dancer will be mentored by the faculty of internationally experienced industry professionals in our world-class facilities at Kelvin Grove and the Company’s home, the Thomas Dixon Centre.

This scholarship is awarded at the end of the year to a student chosen at the discretion of the Queensland Ballet Artistic Director and/or Queensland Ballet Academy Director.

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we work and perform. Long before we performed on this land, it played host to the dance expression of our First Peoples. We pay our respects to their Elders — past, present and emerging — and acknowledge the valuable contribution they have made and continue to make to the cultural landscape of this country.
